Circular Poetry Contributor: Jonathan Hadwen

This untitled contribution to the Letter.Box.Stamp.Collect. project is from poet Jonathan Hadwen. This is what he says about the connection between the project and the piece:

i actually thought of this poem after hearing the sound of a hammer, and then its echo, seemingly coming from somewhere else, like the sound itself was doing laps of the neighbourhood and cuing the person to strike again.  it is sound that reminds me of eerie sunday afternoons growing up in the suburbs of brisbane.

Jonathan is a member of the Queensland Poetry Festival Program Committee  and you can find more of his work at his blog.
