Circular Poetry Contributor: Eddy Burger

These contributions to the Letter.Box.Stamp.Collect. project are from poet Eddy Burger, with Deeper, Through the eyes of a fly and I dug a deep hole – a multidirectional poem. A version of the piece Through the eyes of a fly appears in Eddy’s chapbook Impressions of me (Small Change Press) and I dug a deep hole – a multidirectional poem first appeared in Unusual Work No. 4. Eddy says of this piece:

This poem can be considered circular in the way the reader can begin at many points and end at many points. Once the reader has reached the end of a sentence the nature of the poem compels the reader to go back to the beginning and read another.
